We are still in the Dog Days of summer. That’s a term that goes back to the Romans and it means hot and stagnant weather. It can also be applied to genealogy research. Everyone knows what I am talking about. It’s when you just aren’t getting anywhere. No matter what you do, you just don’t seem to be making much headway with your research.
