Fall is here and public libraries are celebrating! September marked Library Card Sign-up Month and in October we highlight public library archives with Georgia Archives Month. Did you know that library card you signed up for in September gives you access to resources that will get you started on your next local history or genealogy project. Do you want to learn more about the history of your town or who your ancestors were? If so, stop by the Georgia Heritage Room on the third floor of the Augusta-Richmond County Public Library at 823 Telfair Street and we’ll be happy to get you started. Please check out what resources are available to you with your new library card by following the link below. Call us at 706-826-1511 for more information.
