Last year, the Augusta-Richmond County Public Library was chosen along with several other public libraries in Georgia to be involved in the Digital Public Libraries of America (DPLA) Public Library Partnership Project (PLPP). The project, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation made it possible for several historic items from our special collections to be digitized, and are now easily accessible online through our partner, Digital Library of Georgia (DLG).
